Symposium Research Young Archaeologists

What is SOJA?
Since 2002 SOJA archaeology departments at Universities in the Netherlands have hosted SOJA. At the SOJA symposium young researchers in archaeology have the chance to present their research for an audience and present it for publication in the SOJA volume. This year SOJA will be held at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam on Friday 23rd March

About March 23rdst
The day will be divided in two different sessions. Each session contains three rounds of about 4 to 5 lectures, which are classified by subject.
Lunch will be provided between the two sessions, during which a business market will take place. Afterwards there will be a discussionpanel ,followed by drinks at the end.
The sessions will consist of lectures in Dutch and English (as speaker you will have the choice of which language you will speak in). The SOJA 2012 programme can be viewed here.

Costs
Participants pay 7,50 euro for the entire day. Speakers pay 5,00 euro
